Basnet Finance is a private personal finance middleware application operated by Bas Vangermeersch for his own account information and budgeting analysis.

Data collected

With explicit bank consent, the application may retrieve account information through Enable Banking, including account identifiers, account names, balances, transaction dates, transaction amounts, currencies, counterparties, descriptions, and provider metadata needed to synchronize those records.

Data not collected

The application does not collect or store KBC passwords, PINs, card reader codes, one-time codes, itsme credentials, or payment card security codes.

Use of data

Financial data is used only for personal budgeting, cashflow summaries, recurring-payment detection, anomaly checks, and related private analysis for Bas Vangermeersch.

Storage and sharing

Data is stored in a private SQLite database on Bas's own infrastructure. Data is not sold or shared with advertisers, data brokers, or unrelated third parties. Enable Banking and the connected bank process data as required to provide the account information connection.

Retention and deletion

Data is retained only while the private analysis service is useful. Bas may delete the local database, revoke bank consent, or remove provider credentials at any time.

Payment initiation

Basnet Finance is account-information only. It does not initiate payments, transfers, investment orders, credit applications, or account changes.
